In January of this year, there were a lot of reports that were out which stated that the company was planning to launch a new 4″ iPhone which was supposed to be very similar to that of the iPhone 5s that was launched in 2013. It is said that the new phone was similar to it along with a few upgrades made internally as well as there were some enhanced features and a special edition of the iPhone 5s version.

As per the sources, the number “5” has been dropped out from the name of the device and the new name that has been decided upon by the company for this model is called iPhone SE. This will also mark the company’s first upgrade of the iPhone without its name having any number. Logically, this would also be removed from the annual update cycle of the company.

The look of the iphone SE is said to be very similar to the 5S model of the iPhone, however the difference would be on the curved edges of the phone. For a better performance, it will also have an A9 processor along with a fitness tracking feature that has a M9 chip. Along with that there will also be o support of Hey Siri that will always be on. This is a feature that allows you to take out Live Photos and the camera is said to be of 8 MP.

For Apple Pay, you have the NFC chip as well as the latest hardware for the cellular, Bluetooth and even the WIFI. It is said that these phones are said to have an internal storage of 16 and 64 GB respectively. It is also said that the phone is said to have a new color called the Rose Gold which is an option from the company’s iPhone 6S model.
