Hopefully this is for the first time Apple has seen a slowdown in demand for their products. The personal computer seems to be slower than before as Apple’s shipments has seen a all in the first quarter. Apple nearly holds 1 percent of the worldwide market. According to a report they have shipped 4.6 million units and holds 7.1 percent of the local market however in the quarter 1 comparatively they have shipped 4.56 million coming over to 6.4 percent. Talking about the worldwide shipments, it went down from 71.7 million to 64.8 million computers for the overall PC market. Some of the other biggest brands in Windows pc have also faced similar losses from the consumer. Lenovo & HP their 12.5 million pc orders shrinked down 11.4 million orders.
The issue seems to be baffling the Pc manufacturers. The overall pc market has seen a slower order rate this time. The issue is worth looking at. Data by Gartner and IDC has been issued talking about their figures in decrease of growth of the PC orders. The reason behind so many cancellations is still unknown. It the issue persists then the PC manufacturers will have to take serious actions. It is important the companies should be talking preventive actions at the right time and finding the cause that why such instances are happening. Companies should now majorly focus on coming up with breakthrough technologies. They should be evolving with an invention which has never been done before.
Stakes are high now and companies should be coming with something path breaking very soon. This is hopefully the first quarter and it should be tackled sooner. Nevertheless, hopes are high for the company. May be the next quarter the results gets better and the losses for the company is recovered by all of them.
