Oops Bug alert! Apple Admits Mistake, Will Fix It soon

Apple always teaches us a thing or two about customer management, but their biggest quality is that, they always admit glitches and responds very quickly. People using iOS 9 faced severe problems and app hangs really troubled them. When a particular link was tapped, the OS crashed and this major problem happened in other iOS versions too. So users wanted a fix and Apple said yes. These negative feedbacks bring out the best in them and every problem is given similar importance. The updated iOS 9.3.1 should work perfectly and it will come out within a week. Users thought Apple is unaware, but that was absolutely not the case.

Oops Bug alert! Apple Admits Mistake, Will Fix It soon

This problem was never experienced before, so users are quite shocked. Community investigations are going on and the origin of this dangerous bug is still unknown. App downloads play an important role and some apps simply can’t handle universal links. The app Bookings.com may be the cause, but other apps can’t be left out. Grossly oversized association files were pinpointed and it messed with link behaviour. The daemon got overloaded and consequently file parsing didn’t happen normally. Crashes disrupt the normal workflow and are capable of harming the device as well. Booking.com made some changes in the payload file and its size became just 4 kilobytes.

The already installed app was re‐installed and the cache was cleared too. The developers have taken advantage of the API and as a result bugs got into the system. Figuring out the faulty apps is really hard and normal users can never do that. Problems in link directories are critical ones, some extremely talented developers are working tirelessly to solve this thing permanently. But Apple needs to be stricter with API misuse; otherwise, these things will go on endlessly. If the bigger payload files are handled by iOS; on spot crashing can be prevented.
