Last week, a new feature has been added to the Apple TV app. Now, not only can the iOS developers create new apps and place it on the app, but they can also create new preview videos of apps and place it on the Apple TV network. With these new developments, Apple TV is looking to provide their customers as well as developers the best of experience when it comes to using their new apps or using the app store.
Though this certain preview video of new apps were already available for all iOS devices, the tvOS section only had the facility of viewing still images. The incorporation of the app preview function in tvOS has given the users of tvOS opportunity to first check how a certain app works and then get it. This not only helps the customers to download only the required apps, but also shows them how the app works, making it easier for later use.
Although the basic app preview system is similar for both tvOS and iOS, there are a few prominent changes. The tvOS app preview has a button which allows easy previewing. One can also move the playback forward or backward, stop it, pause it or play it. Almost every function is allowed in the tvOS.
On the other hand, since this feature was just added last week, there are not many app previews available in tvOS. Due to this, this feature has not really hit the market quite as hard as hoped, but it has the capability of taking tvOS to another level. Developers now have the ability to not only create the apps, but also show their clients how the app works even before buying it. Basically, with the preview app, one can easily advertise one’s app by showing them the most interesting features of the app.
