The latest iPhone model, the iPhone SE has shown extraordinary progress in the markets of India and china. According to research by SimilarWeb, the 21st of March, i.e. the day of revealing of the iPhone SE saw an outstanding number of hits on the World Wide Web. As compared to the day before, the online traffic increased by a whopping 83% and hits finally amounted to approximately 21.5 million hits. Moreover, in comparison to the actual release of the previous flagship model of the iPhone, the response was much higher.
The previous result was the overall hits of the iPhone SE all across the world. Coming to the fastest rising potential markets of Apple products, India and China, the hits have been massive. In India the traffic has increased approximately 160%, which is approximately 59% higher than the level it had reached on the day the iPhone SE was released. According to the earlier reports, the iPhone 6 saw a much higher traffic rate with an increase of 186%. The Chinese, on the other hand showed a massive jump in interest with a 150% traffic rate. For this country, the iPhone 6 saw a larger number of traffic hits, which amounted to a mind blowing 234%.
By seeing the above logistics, it seems that the iPhone SE has seen much less interest than the previous flagship model, but it is not so. As compared to the iPhone 6, which was a flagship model, the iPhone SE was released as simply a normal model released ion between two flagship models. Thus, comparing numbers between these devices is not really fair for the company market. The actual flagship model for Apple is still to come in September, the much anticipated Apple iPhone 7.
