Awesome Package: Apple’s Patent Hints At Two New Amazing Products

Apple has been continuously developing new accessories for its amazing product line and recently they filed patents for two solid products. Smart Connectors gave wings to iPad Pro and its updated version will soon be launched. The product was tested with both 9.7‐inch and 12.9‐ inch varieties. Apple was unsure about its future and launched a test version, but after they realized people are finding it useful, the accessory was included in the latest model as well. Stacked connectors allow users to connect more than one device to one port and Apple worked on that. MagSafe was discontinued for some time but Apple may bring it back.

Some very interesting things were mentioned in this patent. The drawings showed many old products like Lightning Plug and it talked about magnetic retention. Apple tests ideas and whenever they fail, the research work on it increases. For a company which always innovates, no idea is completely abandoned. Magnetic retention is integrated with this connector and devices can very easily transfer power as well as data between multiple stacked connectors.

The mated connectors will be bound together by a retention force induced by the magnetic poles. The adaptability of this connector is extreme and the design is simply magnificent. Very similar to charging puck used by Apple Watch, it is much more efficient than Smart Keyboard.

This is not the first time Apple has teased a product update, but converting ideas into products takes time. Finished products sell quickly and capture the market in no time, so patents are done beforehand. The functionality will definitely increase and two separate processes will go on together. The power flow is never interrupted and the cable can easily do multiple jobs effortlessly. Apple fans became impatient and they really hope; this thing becomes a reality rather quickly. Popular iPhone things are integrated in Macbooks and vice‐versa.
