Nearby Option Now Rolled Out By Apple For Customers In Japan

After the release of the iOS 9.3, a nearby availability feature is now available. This on its own brings various new features to the different iPod, iPad and iPhone devices. As per what was noted by Ata Distance’s blog, the company had first rolled out the Nearby option for the Japanese customers sometime last December; however the feature was quickly pulled out due to reasons that were unknown.

Now an official confirmation has been provided by Apple Insider where in the Nearby service is said to be active all across Japan however in the official maps of Apple, the company has not yet updated the same and neither is feature said to be available or even reflects on the Maps. The whole reason behind why this feature was initially launched to be compatible with iOS 9 device and even as an app that can stand alone. Even another thing about the Maps App is the Accessibility or even the Search pane on the system. It is believed that the search feature is said to help and present users the relative information of the location data of users with the help of sources that are third party in nature.

There are different categories that are present under the main menu of the Maps. This includes drinks, food, travel, shopping, entertainment, transportation and even health. Under each of the main menu, there are also various kinds of subcategories so that the search can be a lot easier and simple. This also helps in the filtration process and just by tapping on the place of interest; the customer or user will get to all the relevant information about that particular place. This includes the timings or hours of operation, the contact information, the address and other such vital information that can help the user find their way around.
