Weibo, a reputed blogging service based in China, has uploaded an new image of the new iPhone SE. according to the blog and the image given on the microblogging service, the new iPhone that has been launched in the 21st March Apple event, the iPhone SE has a storage space of 16 GB. Moreover, the small edition iPhone, only 4 inches in size, is also rumoured to contain NFC, as per the packaging of the product. Reports also showed that the device supported Apple Pay app, which is really an added advantage for the small sized iPhone.
The image uploaded shows the packaging of the new iPhone SE. Though it looks quite realistic, the packaging could easily be a photoshopped image, in which case, everything will turn out to be a farce. On the other hand, assuming that the image is true, the iPhone SE will have a lightning type connector. This new type connector has the facility of keeping just one port for charging the device, exchanging data to and from the device and also to connect headphones and listen to media files or talk from the device. On the other hand, the box also contains a 3.5 mm jack headphone, like iPhones usually have.
According to a lot of reliable sources, the iPhone SE can be purchased in two variations, the 16 GB memory type and the 64 GB memory type. As a result of a Twitter poll held, it has been seen that only 2% of the total voters are interested in the 16 GB variant of the iPhone, whereas 45% of the total voters recommend the 64 GB version. The basic design of the new iPhone resembles the design of the iPhone 5s quite closely, but has a camera of 12 megapixels, a larger battery. On the other hand, the iPhone doesn’t support 3D Touch.
