There have been claims that have been made in regards to the next generation iPhone cases and their designs. It is said that the cases are now being made for the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus which was officially released online. By the looks of the design, it does not show any kind of drastic change like what we have been hearing and reading for the past few months.
The case designs for the upcoming iPhone model is said to be very similar to the iPhone 6s. It has also been stated, that these cases are even going to be on sale very soon. The upcoming cases also include a depiction of the 5.5″ iPhone 7 Plus’s dual camera system. This suggests that the appearance of the case will have a binocular‐esque appearance. There are two holes next to each other for the camera with a gap that is said to be pretty sizable.
Also aligned horizontally is the rear microphone and camera flash. There is a space that has been provided for the 3 pin smart connector that is located at the back of the device. The facilitation of the purpose of the Smart Connector is yet to be known. If you look at the iPad Pro, the Smart Connector is used by the company for keyboard case accessories to be used. The whole concept of the Smart Connector along with the Smart Battery Case has been floating around for quite some time now, however it is believed that this is made only for the iPhone 7 4.7″ and not the Plus model.
In between, a few reports did come out in regards to the fact that the Smart connector would also be included by the iPhone 7 plus, however during the unit’s’ final production, it was dropped ultimately. So you can say that this information is said to be outdated. On the other hand, the previous leaks about the 3.5mm headphone jack removal seem to be true since there were no allotments provided for the headphone jack.
