Apple Hires Stephen Fried in Health Game Team

One of the largest tech companies in the world Apple seems to be very much interested in the health sector for the users. Apple is building their efforts in boosting the medical efforts from the company for their users. Tim Cook the CEO of the Apple has keen interest in likely collecting the data of their users for helping them in medical terms. The longer planning of the Apple suggests that Apple will be scaling their products in a way that they are able to track the medical health checks of the users, Apple also plans to add the functionality of the users to help them connect with the right medical support during tensed and weak situations.

Apple has recently hired Stephen Friend who is also the co‐founder and the early president of Sage Bionetworks. Stephen will be working with Apple for monitoring the digital health team of the company. He will be broadly involved in making a product which is able to help as well collect the bio health checkup data of the uses. Friend has been closest to Apple ever after their launch of their ResearchKit platform. The company of Stephen Friend, launched couple of apps from 5 apps which are required for studying Parkinson’s and breast cancer. As the chairman of the company, friend will be helping Apple with strategic decisions. Right before being elected as a member of the Sage, Friend was working with Merck as an executive. Friend is also a faculty member of the very prestigious Harvard Medical School.
