A new app is being developed which will help a person be peaceful in their mind in regards to their safety. During an emergency, this app acts like a lifeline for the law enforcement officials. The app called Planet 911 is available on the iTunes store and is a free download can get you the necessary help that you would need when there is an emergency.

The emergency contact numbers that is listed in the app will receive an email alert and automatic text just with the help of a few taps. Along with the message, another thing that they would also get is a link to the location where you presently are so that they can track you down with the GPS directions.

There is a timer that is included in the app which can be used to configure the check in information at intervals that are predetermined. As and when the timer goes off, the user will be prompted with a notification asking if there is an emergency situation or they are safe. In case the user selects that they are safe, then in order for the timer to disable, they would need to punch in the four digit code. In case there is an emergency, then an alert mode is activated.

There are two security levels that are available which can be selected depending on the situation you are in. If you are just concerned about something then you have the choice to select the I’m Worried option. In this case a customized message will be sent out to 10 contacts in the list along with the data of your present location. However, if in case you are in a situation that is not just a matter of concern, however requires assistance, then you can select the emergency mode. This automatically dials 911 for you so that you get the assistance you need.
