Facebook Introduces New API for Live Streaming Videos

Facebook is heavily working towards their live streaming API’s. On Monday Facebook has launched their live streaming API which can help the broadcasters show their videos endlessly to their users. Facebook is owned by Mark Zuckerberg who is proud owner of the company. Facebook is known to be the world’s largest social networking site which has nearly connected the whole world.

They are also known to own WhatsApp which is another social network on mobile bought by Mark for a sum of 19 billion dollars. This has been known to be the largest deal of any company till date until Microsoft bought LinkedIn. Currently Facebook was using the API where the broadcaster had the issue of 90 minute time map on their videos that any video cannot run for more than 90 minutes on the platform however now after the launch of the API company can use the platform to broadcast their important videos endlessly.

During the launch of the API service in April the company had only 12 partners however now they have more than 100 partners. Using the API’s now the broadcasters can also mix, match and employ various multiple professional cameras. With the launch of the API of the Facebook, the news broadcasters are now at peace, they can run videos for a longer in fact very longer duration of the time now without even working on the editing of the videos.

This has brought a lot of relief for the public media now. Earlier when the live video feature was launched in the market then Facebook had only a single camera facility for the users however now multiple cameras and it has happened due to the tech rival Twitter. They launched their periscope service for their users where they can stream via phones, go cameras and even selected drones.
