Apple to Launch Ground Based Navigation System Replacing GPS

According to the latest patent filed by Apple, the technology company is planning to fit low power and maintenance cost wireless transmitters. The device will be capable of sending pin point accurate locations to the users. The patent number 9,344,989 for the wireless system by Apple will be able to enhance the location accuracy of the users. Apple is planning to launch the navigation based system on the grand scale.

The developers at the Apple are trying to create an algorithm which will help the users to even find the grounded parked car using the iPhone. The navigation app should be able to solve the issues for everyone on the broad level. They are trying to make some navigation adjustments after which even the police should be able to find someone easily in the densely populated region too. The accuracy for the geo positioning is very important for the Apple users. If they are not able to map the exact location of someone then the complete efforts on building the prototype goes in vain.

The plan includes installation of the stationary transmitters which shall be installed on the higher locations for getting clear frequencies. Majorly the devices will be installed upon building in the cities, city roads. The transmitters which are planned to be installed is a smart wireless hub with the radio transceivers. The devices will be powered by solar energy making them self‐ sustainable on their own. Apple claims that their new navigation system can help people track anything very easily with higher degree of the accuracy and precision. It can be specifically used for counting upon the vehicles on the roads. Some believes that the feature will be launched with the upcoming Apple car. The dates are not released as in when their project Titan will be launched however the company expects to launch it 2020.
