In an open letter published by the four tech giants Apple, Google, Amazon and Microsoft the bill against the encryption has been openly opposed by them. In an Open Letter by Tech Companies, Burr Feinstein’s Bill Is Directly Opposed

The companies has clarified their stance that they are more than willing to respond to the requests given by the government for emergency situation however at the same time they create strong encryption which cannot be broken by the criminal or the government too. After the government interception in the complete process they will have to weaken the securities for allowing government intervene whenever they want to. On the other hand it will also give an opportunity to criminals to take unwanted access of the system and use it in whatever way they want to.

The officials of the tech companies also warned government that after the successful implementation of the protocol on loose system all these companies will no longer be able to provide safe and secure data to its consumers. They will side by giving an open door to criminals too. According to the Burr‐Feinstein bill, “Compliance with Court Orders Act of 2016,” introduced just 7 days back, government can intervene into the business whenever and wherever they want too. Companies will have to provide data to the government. In most of the cases it is difficult for companies to break their own encryption therefore they will have to loosen the security a bit for everyone universally. It is huge massacre for both the government in cases wherever a serious offense has happened and for companies to find a back door for obtaining the data as well as keeping data safe.
