Bend The Rules Over Getting The Access Over 180 Days Email

Rules seem to be getting tougher for the tech companies. In a full house supported law passed by US house judiciary committee now a warrant can be easily issued against the law companies for demanding the copy of the email which is older than 180 days old. In an un‐ anonymous voting against the bill, the votes were 28‐0 that is full house support for the bill making it easier for them to pass. Now any law enforcement agency in US cannot legally ask the tech giant companies the copy of the email which is older than 180 days old by simply presenting a copy of the legal warrant.

The act was passed to make emails a safer route to communicate. Companies like Apple, Google, Yahoo, etc. have been fighting for the consumer’s privacy. This is one the reason why Apple refused to support FBI with their mission in unlocking the IPhone recovered from the murdered in San Bernardino case. Things are moving closer in the favor of the tech companies and now they cannot be legally troubled too, they can operate freely without any intervention from any of the legal consolidates. While this law make have eased out the purpose of the tech companies however at the same time the debate has sparked over the issues which law enforcers may have to face now. Its mutation may not be easy for them to convince the tech companies for seeking their help. Things may be moving in their favor however it is also making most of the issues prevalent for lawmakers. It has intensified the situation behind security.

A serious threat call of security is being ordered after making such instances happen. It is making most of the situations easy for the non‐societal people. This is probably the concern for FBI and law agencies now.
