Improved Chrome: Push Notifications Coming Finally, Mac Users Impressed

Chrome is one such browser which updates continuously and rectifies its faults. But Mac users never enjoyed special updates as the company focuses on Windows users. But off late, developers thought about it and rolled out push notifications. Native notifications are becoming obsolete and this new system is taking its place. Mac users experienced crashes several times and the stability issue raised serious concerns. But Chrome wins due to its speed and the competitors are not even close. The software can handle multiple tabs and similar speed is maintained throughout. The syncing ability is another superb feature which makes Chrome indispensable.

The option is already available on several devices and the testing is in progress. If problems are not encountered, universal roll‐out will occur. Feature flags are highly useful in these conditions and it makes choosing new features very easy. Constant alerts are extremely annoying and Google respects the default settings in your computer. The message comes exactly the same way, other notifications come and users can opt out of them any time. “Rich” notifications will not work anymore as OS X, decided to discontinue that customization. Inside settings, native options can be activated; a browser restart is required after that.

The changes are surely good and active development is taking place. Quite naturally, basic problems will occur from time to time, but after 2‐3 updates, these shortcomings will be completely removed. Developers are anticipating that in future chrome will get special treatment and users will be totally blown away. Lesser RAM consumption, better speed and no slow tabs, users are greatly relieved. Speed has always been there focus point and as features have increased, this aspect was never compromised. The frequency of updates is six weeks and in that time, all issues will be taken care of. Extensions reduce performance, but in future, memory management is getting better.
