Presidential candidates never agree on the same thing, but recently they made an exception. Two candidates had one common foe, Apple. This sounds strange but they have pointed out some serious issues which demands quick action. In 2016, Apple’s rivalries with government bodies intensified and they found themselves in a very uncomfortable situation. This year will bring massive change and the socio‐economic conditions will totally transform. Bernie and Donald differed in their approach, but more or less, they spoke in a similar tone. An adamant company like Apple never bothers about trivial things, but this issue is simply undeniable. From manufacturing to taxes, they demanded answers from Cook’s company.
Apple makes huge profits by outsourcing the manufacturing part but this practice will come to an end. Sanders sounded aggressive as he talked in details about future plans. Trump on the contrary asked a very simple question. He simply can’t understand how Apple is contributing towards the economy. Yes, their worth is increasing, other countries are having industrial growth, but America is not getting anything. This has to change for a better tomorrow.
Relationships with China are sure to change, if this happens. But America’s growth is their main agenda here, nothing can come before that. This applies for computers as well. People want jobs and jobs can’t be produced out of nothing. But it remains to be seen, whether American citizens will prefer to do these jobs. Countries with a weaker economy accept jobs in all forms, they are not really selective. But things are different in US, this plan can backfire, but they will definitely go along with it. Massive price rise or poor profits, there is nothing much to choose here. But a $300‐$400 increase is a big decision and people will surely revolt it. Apple creates jobs and in 2015, they created as many as 1.9 million, which will definitely increase.
