For a long time now, rumors have spread about Apple enhancing their display unit and using a new and improved technology to make their display units much better than they presently are. The technology they are looking to incorporate on their future products is the inclusion of OLED display unit. There are strong hints in the tech world which suggest that Apple will indeed be changing their display unit technology. Further investigations have shown that Apple will most probably change the screen size too.
One of the top analysts from Apple, Ming Chi Kuo, has provided with enough evidence and also stated that Apple will actually be introducing a 5.8 inch screen using OLED Display technology in an iPhone which will supposedly be launched next year, in 2017. As per the reports, the top analyst predicts that the 2017 version of the iPhone will have the basic structure of iPhone 4, having the back and front made of glass and the sides constructed of metal. If the bezels are made a bit narrower, and the display is curved, the new larger screen can be fitted into a factor which is actually smaller than the present 5.5 inch iPhone.
Ming Chi Kuo made some more predictions which can be made true in the future. Moreover, the predictions are not as much far‐fetched as it seems, since Samsung has already been able to fit a larger sized screen on a smaller structure than the iPhone 6s, as seen in the new Samsung product Galaxy S7 Edge. Moreover, the person behind the predictions is someone who is reputed not to make false predictions regarding Apple products. Although the time he mentions might not match, but the predictions usually turn out to be true. The only way to verify them is to wait till 2017 and see for ourselves.
