VentureBeat also added some information in their own report pertaining to the company’s plans regarding Project McQueen. With the help of this project, the company can now replace the third party vendors since they will have their own infrastructure for cloud storage.

In the pipeline, Apple plans to have their own networking equipment, servers as well as systems which can be used by in the future by developers who are can power the various apps that are specially meant for the various Apple based devices.

As per the reports, the claims that are being made as per the reports which are available states that the motivation behind this particular move of the company is due to the interception of the servers during the time of shipping. It is also believed that there were firmware and additional chips that were added by third parties which were unknown. Due to this, the servers were very vulnerable to various kinds of infiltration.
