FBI Has Attorney General As Supporter

Loretta Lynch, a reputed Attorney General of the United States of America, has indicated of her support for the FBI court order. Recently, the feud between Apple and the FBI has reached its pinnacle, with various imminent men and organizations taking different sides. Some clearly state that it is Apple’s duty to comply with the court order as it is a court order which will help the government investigate a terrorist activity. On the other hand, many feel that creating a backdoor to Apple iPhone security will give the government more power of the general public than they should ethically have.

FBI Has Attorney General As Supporter

In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, the Attorney General clearly made the public understand, without clearly stating, that she is 100% siding with the FBI’s decision. This report also states that she was actually making a speech in a conference held on cyber security, where most of the eminent guests present will most likely be the one’s supporting Apple’s decision to not create the backdoor.

According to the Attorney General, the fact that some of the communication device manufacturing companies provide their devices with sound security features which help the users to keep their private conversations and data private is a big issue when it comes to national security. Due to these facilities, malicious users are able to work without inhibitions and can safely shield their conversations and data against prying eyes. In short, the government is actually “going dark” due to these security features.

She also sides with the decision taken by some of the senators of the United States that a communication device manufacturing company should have softwares ready to provide backdoors to the government investigating teams in case there is some kind of criminal activity going on. Moreover, they should provide with the technology to the government whenever they need it.
