A new feature in the newly released iOS 9.3beta is that of the much anticipated light adaptation to help users work on the devices at night without harming their eyes. The feature has been named “Night Shift”. This feature reduces the amount of blue light on an iOS device in the evening hours, all based on studies that show that the light in the blue spectrum has a bad effect on the eyes and has negative impact on the sleep cycle of the body.
This new feature is somewhat similar in its technology to the erstwhile iOS app named “f.lux”. The app worked in the same principle in which the blue light from the screen would be minimized for better eye health and vision. The colors towards the night is somewhatwarmer with yellowish tinge.
The app “f.lux” has had many altercations with Apple in regards to their app, which resulted in them being not included in the Apple Store. This feature at present only available with the developers version of the iOS,that has been launched by Apple. This is a beta version of the full version that will be available in a few months. This new version has had many new features added to it and it will be called the
iOS 9.3.
