Some of the lucky candidates that have been highlighted in the report include ESPN, Netflix and HBO. Presently, the company is already in a partnership with these channels and is now trying to go ahead and come up with a search feature that is universal on tvOS. It is said that from the cable boxes, a more reboots version of the TV guides will be offered through a visual component.

The vision that Apple has is to allow subscribers to go ahead and subscribe to the various other video services instead of just watching what is airing. It was noted by Recode that a lot of efforts came out after the stalled efforts of the company when they were trying to create their own service of video streaming.

The whole concept is to give users the ability of watching the various programming that can be seen on the video apps made from the likes of ESPN, Netflix and HBO wherein they did not have to open the app individually and just with a single click, they still get to see the movies and shows. It means that in the guide of Apple, they will get to know what is presently running on the TV however that would be the apps.
