The Magic Mix that Gets Yellow Colored Apple Computers Back to It’s Original Color

Javier Rivera uses Love as a formula to make things look brand new, all he does is use an OxiClean laundry booster, arrowroot and some salon strength peroxide. During the annual gathering that is held at the KansasFest, Apple ll loyal lovers come to Rivera with their yellowed  computers. The reason behind that is because his mix is said to remove the yellow colored staining that can be seen in the plastic pieces of the computer.

They are first taken out and placed in the assembly line, the reason why the yellow color comes is due to a reaction that happens to the plastic while it is exposed to light which also includes sunlight. This chemical reaction is reversed by Rivera as he goes ahead and cleans the plastic using his special formula while sitting in the sun. After the mix is applied, he leaves it for a few hours which then goes ahead and helps to take out the yellow color back to how it was originally.

The technique that is used by Rivera is called Retro Brightening. A British Chemist had created this technique in 2008 which helped in putting the wraps of the belief that the staining which was yellow in color was permanent. This was the information that was seen in the official website of Retrobright. After he had read about how a German Museum had got success by using hydrogen peroxide to clean the plastics which had become yellow in color. Later on he got to know that with the help of an oxygenated cleaner, the process could be faster.

He spent a lot of time during the Kansas Fest sitting outdoors and cleaning the plastics gently and carefully. He first went ahead and pulled the components which were made from plastic which included the keyboard and cleaning it properly. Once it was cleaned and dried, he went ahead  and assembled it back again.
