Apple Rolls Out Special Discounted Rates On Apple Music Subscription For Students

Keeping students in mind, Apple has introduced new plans for the Apple Music Subscription. It is believed that features of the plan is identical to that of the standard plans however instead of paying the monthly subscription fee of $9.99, students who qualify can get their Apple Music Subscription for a monthly fee of $4.99.

The new plan that was rolled out is open for the students of Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, and United States a few other countries. Depending on the region, there would be variation in the Price, however it is said that on an average, it is believed that they would get a discount of around 50% from the regular price of the Apple Music subscription.

For a student to qualify, they have to be attending the college or university at the time of when they are opting for the discounted plan. It is also said that the student will get the discount for around 4 years. Recently UNiDAYs and Apple had partnered so that they could go ahead and verify the students who could sing up under the plan and also ensure that the information they give about attending the qualifying college or university is legitimate.

The trial period of three months is still being offered by the company. This is beneficial for new users who want to try out the Apple Music service without making any kind of commitment on the monetary front. They can then opt for the paid subscription of Apple Music either for a monthly fee of $9.99 or in the student discount at $4.99 which has recently been rolled out.

There is also a Family Plan that is offered by the company which is at a monthly fee of $14.99 where up to 6 People can use the Apple Music Service under the one subscription.
