Met Gala also known as Met Ball is formally known as Costume Institute Gala. The annual fundraising is for New York City based Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, each year the theme of the Year’s exhibition. All the guests invited for the exhibition are required as well as requested to be in formals for the event to celebrate the fashion of the theme. This year’s name of the theme is Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology”. John Ivy the spokesperson from Apple at the event said that the only idea behind sponsoring the theme was to endorse their upcoming Apple iWatch. John said that Apple is one of the companies who want to match the technology with style. He deeply cares about fashion and wants to inculcate the same in their products. Apple has a deep sense of passion towards trying something new each time and being associated with the fundraiser gives them more wonderful ideas about their upcoming design and their chosen custom colors.

Apple is currently working upon a lot of products and its designs, who knows they may get their inspiration from the show about any of their product. Apple is thrilled to be a part of the event and would like to participate more and be a part of it each year hopefully. Apple says they would like to find more such opportunities for finding the idea s behind their product design because nobody cares about what it does. They are more interested towards how it looks initially.
