Another Court Case on Apple Dropped Again

Apple should be feeling lucky now. This has happened for the first time in history with any company where the alleged cases have been dropped against them. Apple is one of the companies which is very strict and particular about their consumers privacy of the data. This is one of the reasons why end to end encryption was applied to Apple. Today none of the Apple’s phone can be hacked. The data in the phones of the Apple are safe and completely private. The data is so safe that it will be difficult for the Apple employees too if they are asked to break the safe and scrap the data from the device. This is where Apple is dragged in court every time.

Another Court Case on Apple Dropped Again

Apple was charged for not helping agencies towards extracting the data from the device held from the drug dealer in New York. In a similar event another case where Apple was not willing to help FBI in San Bernardino case was also convicted for similar reason however later charges on Apple was dropped by FBI itself. They took the help of a third party in getting the phone unlocked.

The killer Rizwan Farooq and his wife reportedly killed 14 people in San Bernardino. They were shot dead immediately however FBI recovered a phone from them. Apple was asked to help FBI in unlocking the phone to gain the access of the data. After Apple’s refusal to cooperate, FBI took the help of some third party hackers who charged over 1 million to unlock the device. Going by the reports Apple received more than 5000 requests in first six months of 2015 for helping different agencies in unlocking the phone however Apple hasn’t cooperated with anyone yet. Apple lawyers asked FBI to submit reasonable proofs that they have exhausted their alternatives before asking Apple to help them with unlocking the device.
