As per the report, the codename Rhea will be given to the largest building while the company has named the initiative of the electric car as Project Titan. In the Greek mythology, one of the Titans is named Rhea. It is believed that this was the same building which was reported to have a security presence that was very heavy and also the one from which a lot of noise had come from. There were also indications made in filed documents having areas like wheel balancer, tire changer and lube bay. By the looks of this, these were all in reference to the car.

In Sunnyvale, there is also a manufacturing facility that has been codenamed ‘Medusa’. As per the plans of this particular building, the areas that are shown refer to the eye tracking and vision lab. The facility that Fed Ex previously owned will now be named Magnolia. Apple plans to include an area that is for a machine called regenerative thermal oxidizer which helps to reduce pollution and is often used in manufacturing.

As per the building plans, San Jose’s former research lab called Zeus will be used by apple as the interim lab which would be used by the house researchers and Apple. For this particular building, the security would be very important and is 290,000 Sq feet. There is also a building that would be called Athena; however the significance of this building is yet to be known.
