In the beginning of this year, Apple made its intentions very clear that Apple pay will expand. They are collaborating with UnionPay in this initiative. This interbank network is quite popular in China and deals with processing of various kinds of credit, debit cards. All of Apple’s devices are included from iPad, iPhone to Apple Watch. The integration is simple and the cardholders will make purchases using Apple pay. The minimum OS requirements are watchOS 2.1 for Apple Watch and iOS 9.2 for other devices. By having a partnership with China’s top tier services, Apple pay will take only a few months to be popular here.

Not only China, a few other countries will also experience Apple pay in the coming months. iGeneration is a well‐renowned website in France and they claimed that Apple Pay will hit France, early in 2016. There are no details about this announcement, but it can well be said it is a clever move by Apple. In France, a lot of banks will be associated with Apple Pay, which is a lot different from the scenario in Canada or Australia for that matter.
