Way back in the year 2010 during the time of the Steve jobs, Apple introduced a new display resolution to the market. It was able to deliver invisible virtual pixels to the human eye. In the similar fashion, Apple is wondering about taking a leap forward with their iPhone 7. The company wants to introduce “Retina Color”. Apple is working on the color accuracy of the devices. They have not talked much about it yet however they plan to improve upon they surely want to work upon it.
The issue of the wide color or the true color is just the issue with the hardware. There is something to be done with the complete distribution and production of the gadget as well. In the case of the HDTV with wide color optimization, it shall be the effort of the whole industry.
There are a lot of companies already working on the similar concept however in case of the mobile devices Apple will have to work upon the hardware as well as the software. Before the iPhone 4 launch, there was a wide variety of the Android phone sin the market. Hype was already created in the market that now shall have a better resolution and a better pixel ration as compared with the old phones in the market. The truth was something else, companies simply arranges the red, blue and green pixels colors. It ultimately resulted in a poor viewing angle and a very poor display too.
Apple rather worked hard on the technical aspect of all their devices. Apple left no room for ambiguity. They were the ones who brought the support for the wide colors ratio on the iOS. They also worked on the graphics, core animation, screen kit, web kit, etc.
