The rumors say that Apple is planning to shut down iTunes completely for the benefit of the company. They would like to focus on their music streaming services. No plans as such have been confirmed by the company. This is again one of assumptions floating in the market.
People are only expressing their views, that Apple may be ditch the traditional business of music download and solely concentrate on the music subscription for their consumers. iTunes app for their consumers. They are working on the core functionality to gain an edge on their present offerings. Apple has not confirmed any plans as such. Rather Apple says they are planning to simplify their current offerings.
There will some major changes in their design for the iOS 10 music app. There will be mainly more focus on artwork for the design of the music app. There were some good changes introduced last month too. They introduced the sidebar for the navigation in the iTunes app. The new version of the OS X and the fresh iTunes is likely expected to be launched at the same time. The company is focusing on making tons of improvement on their interface along with cosmetic appearances too. iTunes is also adding couple of more features like licensed integration of lyrics. They are expecting to follow more number of consumers after adding these changes. Apple’s music business has desperately failed in last few years.
They have observed that a lot of people have unsubscribed from their services and are no longer paying them. This is a call for Apple now. They may shut down and move or amend some changes and try to re‐engage their existing clients. Officially no confirmation has been received by any of officials at Appel for close down plans of iTunes completely.
