Apple is taking serious actions towards their special car project. The new has itself confirmed that very sooner the Apple car will be seen in the markets too. Elon Musk, Telsa CEO calls Apple Telsa’s Graveyard jokingly. Most of the employees fired by Telsa have been hired immediately by Apple. Both of the companies is sharing a special bond now. Former employees of one company have been hired by another. It could be another strategy of Apple to compete neck to neck with them, who knows may be? Recently Apple took a giant move by hiring the Telsa VP Chris Porritt of vehicle engineering. He was the face behind the most demanded super cars,
Aston Martin. Chris will be responsible for the special projects on Apple’s team. The special project is none other than the electric car of Apple. Before coming to UK, Chris was working in an automotive industry. In 1987 he was working as an intern in Land Rover and then by 1997 he was the principle engineer for the same project. Until 2013 he was working as a chief engineer with Aston Martin and now finally joined Apple as VP for special projects. Chris is excited to work with Apple and is looking to share his experience with the company.
One of the Apple’s employees Jhonny Ive (Apple’s Chief Design Officer) is said to have a weak spot for Aston Martin. He was said to have owed few of them. Telsa is a hardcore engineering firm and they are completely inclined towards engineering. Chris has joined Apple very quietly. He has been completely away from the media too. Porritt will be getting a team of engineers who will be directly reporting to them. These engineers under the team off Porritt will be reportedly responsible for product development, engineering, design, etc.
