While word has already spread that Apple Pay is all set to hit the French soil before this year ends, the recent word also states that the service is also planning to hit a few other countries as well. Word says that Apple Pay may even launch in Hong Kong, Brazil, Singapore and Japan mostly by this year with the help of MasterCard. The document that was release also showed that even in Canada, the Apple Pa service may get the support of MasterCard. Presently in Canada, the Apple Pay service is being supported only by American Express.
In October of 2015, Apple in a teasing manner said that they were planning to launch the Apple Pa service in Hong Kong, Singapore and Spain in sometime but didn’t say when exactly there were going to do it. The released document kind of suggests that Brazil and Japan are the next markets that the service plans to touch. If this information is true, that means the availability of Apple Pay would go from 5 to 10 countries for the present year, if you include the French market into this list, then the number is said to be 11 countries.
The roadmap of MasterCard also shows that in the agenda of the company. They also plan to show their support to Samsung Pay. This was also announced officially by Samsung itself. With this announcement, it has given the validity of the document some kind of credibility. Apple pay had already touched the Chinese market earlier in the year with the help of the debit and credit cards of union Pay. Even in the United States, Apple Pay has managed to win more hearts of financial institutions that are handing over their support now to the service and have agreed to be a part of it.
