Apple had recently stated that the Congress are the ones who are better suited to take the decision regarding the feud between Apple and FBI regarding the court order placed due to the San Bernardino case. Apple thinks that the Congress, and not courts, can make a better judgment regarding the FBI case. Moreover, they plan to put forward a legal brief mentioning the same. According to the recent reports put on Reuters, both the Democratic and Republican Parties in the House Judiciary System support this particular decision taken by Apple.
The committee is actually responsible for clearing out all the legal feuds in the federal court. Moreover, most of the committee members have sound legal backgrounds to administer proper justice. These members themselves have decided that a legal brief will be filed named “friend of the court”, which will state that the dispute between Apple and the government shall not be decided by the courts, but the Congress. Individual members of the Democratic and Republican Parties would be sending the brief, but the actual members who would do so is still not known.
According to one of the most reputed lawyers Apple have, the government has actually been persuading the courts to take the very decision which was initially denied by the Congress. Thus, Apple feels that the Congress will be the best suited to take the decision regarding the matter of Apple being forced to compromise their device’s security system for the San Bernardino case.
An interesting fact came into light a few days back, when a certain judge in New York had ruled against the same petition put forward in a different case, but having a similar type of situation. Apple feels that this particular hearing and the decision will be taken into account during the hearing of the San Bernardino case too.
