Apple’s New Intern Is Signal Messaging App Developer To Work For Apple’s Core OS Security Team

Frederic Jacobs, who is a developer based is Switzerland is all set to come onboard as an intern with Apple. He is the brain who developed the secure App that was recommended by Edwards Snowden. Signal, which was the app that was developed by Jacobs, had passed the various security tests when it was put forth by the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

It is believed that in order to hold a stronger ground in front of the FBI, for a stronger language, Apple is trying to ramp things for better argument purposes. As per the statement that was released, it said that the developer of the Signal messaging app was all set t come onboard the company during the summer so that he can help work towards the security team.

In an official announcement, Jacobs said that he would be joining the Company based in Cupertino for the summer so that it can work on the security team that would be for Core OS. The company’s CEO, Tim Cook said that if they create the so called special code that has been asked by the FBI that would be something like software which is just like Cancer. The statement that was used by the copy in its motion that was filed at court, they stated that the government could put forth their argument which forces the citizens to do things as per what they term ‘necessary’. This is similar to asking a pharmaceutical company to produce certain drugs which is against their will so that a lethal injection could be carried out. This in further is a death warrant that has been issued lawfully. It has also been said, that the code as per the company that the FBI would want to use is said to be named Govt OS. It seems to be that the company may just be winning in the game of the War of Words.
