The external look is similar, the dimensions are also similar. One small feature adds to the weight, it is merely negligible. The comparatively small battery also reduces the weight to a great extent.

The credit goes to iFixit here, they were brutal. Users can’t even touch the device, it is very complicated. Service centers will take care of the issue and handle everything. As it can’t be repaired easily, the poor ratings are absolutely perfect. “Touch Bar” needed space, Apple made small changes. The positions were changed and this one got inside perfectly. Some special components were really difficult to change, iFixit still broke it. The main board is connected with it by a tiny flex cable. The connection is delicate, the wrapping happened below the surface. The case has some space beneath it, speakers were placed here.

Sound engineering requires proper thinking, Apple was spot on here. The case didn’t kill the sound, air vents made the job simpler. Users can’t really complain about sound quality, they get amplified audio. The smaller variety missed out on this one, as the function keys were present.

Power switch was faulty, it needed some fixing. Logic board was totally revamped, the solution was obtained easily. Power button contains a special sensor, T1 chip is paired with that. They shocked the internal processes, iFixit always offers some insight. Screws are accessible; they put the ‘trackpad’ in place.
