As per Ming Chi Kuo, and Apple analyst with KGI, the launch of the upcoming device is said to be anytime during the late 2016. There is also a possibility that the announcement of the Apple Watch 2 would be done in September alongside iPhone 7. It is also to be believed that the flagship is said to undergo various kinds of changes.

As per word, it is said that the latest flagship of the Apple Watch is said to be waterproof and will also come with a barometer and a GOS. This is something that is already there in the Apple Watch 1 however, it is said that SoC which is internal will be new. This will help to enhance the performance so that it is a lot faster. The one thing that had been pointed out by KGI was the fact that there may not be any kind of change done to the physical design of the watch that will be released. It is also stated that the company may go ahead and come up with a new design for the Apple Watch when they plan to launch the Apple Watch 3 flagship.

Another interesting factor that had been pointed out by KGI was pertaining to the fact that for the Apple Watch 2, the plans of the company is to come up with a bumped version for the specs of the present Apple Watch. It seems to be that they plan to work on the features that are there presently like the GPS. However, they do intend to go ahead and sell the Apple Watch 1 with an improved GPU and CPU performance by using a new SoC.
