Not a tale but it’s true, that earlier when Taylor Swift had a sturdy opinion on an Apple Product and Tim Cook took the pain to make some quick changes. So, we hope that this time Taylor might induce Apple to take the Notes App to a next level.
In the last year, many celebrities have been making public statements sharing from their Notes App. Young celebrities like Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato posted screenshot of their Notes on Twitter previous year. And this year Taylor Swift has set the Twitter to action through iOS Notes App.
The Notes App is popular among the celebrities who likes overshare. But Apple made it a little cumbersome to share your piece of mind. Here are the steps involved while using the Notes App –
· Take a screenshot in the Notes
· Open Instagram or Twitter
· Choose the screenshot
· Edit the screenshot
· Post them on Instagram or twitter
· Delete the screenshot on the camera roll
Six steps seem to labor intensive. And the steps might increase if your statement is too long. Even if you are an expert in editing and cropping, the screenshot fails to look elegant and might reveal some information accidentally, which might not want to be public.
Obviously, there is a need for the Notes App to be integrated with social media. Right now, you cannot find the notes useful if the tweet is more than 140 characters, since you have to take more screenshots. Apple can make this process easy by including a sharing option and treat the Notes more like photos and not as a text. The new Note features can work as Instapaper’s Tweetshots that highlights a string of text from an article you are reading in the form of image, with no limit in word count.
Notes App has enough potential as a go-to app when people want to share, something more than 140 characters. Therefore, Apple thus needs to struggle and make it the best.
