Many users are complaining that they cannot access their Apple ID for a span of many hours. The cause shown is for security which is barring the user’s entry. However, the main cause behind this inconveniency is now clear; it is because of Spark Email. It is an app by Readdle where the customers log in with iCloud ID and it is this iCloud which is sending unfathomable warning because of which the users are facing the problem. However, Readdle gave an explanation shortly after the confusion stating the issue.
Readdle’s Version
According to Readdle, they are trying to upgrade the app server which is unintentionally resetting the passwords of Apple ID. They are incorporating AWS server which will accelerate the email system and will also prepare it for Mac and this new inclusion seems to have changed the algorithms of Cloud for which it has been behaving this weirdly.
Readdle also wants to assure its users that no data leakage has taken place and no other entity has invaded into the system. There is no serious problem to worry about or be afraid off. It’s just that the server while undergoing upgradation started changing the passwords for security reason.
Bottomline
After following Readdle’s statement, the users can give out a sigh of relief, as all their contents are safe and no third team take advantage of this confusion. Moreover, there is happy news for the Spark Email users that their app will be evolved. But the fact which is still unclear that if anyone between Apple or Readdle has taken a step to solve the issue or not. The problem is zeroed but the solution is still not known. But Readdle assured to talk to Apple soon. Hopefully, things will fall back in place.
