This is perhaps the worst year for Samsung, they are living a nightmare. Note 7 destroyed their reputation, it has become negligible. The only thing they could do is replace phones; that went horribly wrong. The “copying” war with Apple can rest for now; they need to take care of their products first. Apple has minor performance issues, but they never found themselves in big debacles. Several new devices were created and users got that, the problem only became complex. The explosion continued as usual, the main problem was never identified. The money is stacking up; their entire quarter can get spoiled.
The Southwest flight incident took them backwards, it’s terrible. The airplane’s destination was Baltimore, it was stopped midway. The device was plugged with the charger and smoke started coming out. The passengers were rushed out; the situation could have gone out of control. Samsung’s device is unsafe; they should pick up the remaining phones. The injury count is zero, but Samsung’s tactics are really questionable. They performed some shady tests and called this device “safe”. This lapse is shocking, the company’s integrity is definite questionable. Users will not replace now, they are planning to give up this phone.
Brian Green narrowly escaped an accident, he is in trauma. The man lost respect for Samsung; he will prefer other devices now. The scare is one issue, but he felt humiliated. This was not needed, b affected him really bad. The manufacturing device was not sorted out, other incidents can happen too. The problems begin along with the charging, the heating crosses all normal levels. Samsung accepted everything, they are ashamed and disheartened. This quality was not expected at all, Samsung really operated on a higher level. Customer’s trust is fragile, it slips very easily. They have the capability to do it; Samsung has a difficult road to cross.
