Apple recently called their annual photographers for award ceremony. These are the people who are addicted with their iPhone cameras. Apple has recognized few top photograph shots which were clicked from the camera of the iPhone. Apple has been holding this ceremony from last 9 year. Apple receives thousands of entries each year from the people who are using their Apple devices. The photographers for this year came across 139 countries. The mega award went to the image known as “Man and the Eagle” clicked by Chinese photographer Siyuan Niu.

He clicked this picture on the mountains of the Tianshan. Niu stays in Xinjiang Province. Interestingly he told the Time magazine that the image clicked by him was from the camera of his iPhone 5s. He later processed and edited this picture on Google’s Snapseed and applied the VSCO filter later.

The wise and the brave Khalkhas live on the south mountains of the Xinjiang. They are accompanied with eagles. The eagles are treated as the children of these tribes. The eagles are trained to hunt by them. When these eagles reach the age of the puberty and are able to mate, they are released back into the nature. Though the 70 year old man is emotionally driven by the thought of releasing the eagles and is reluctant to do so however he still has to do it. The tender emotions of the tough man are shown in the photograph. The next winner of the iPhone photographer of the award went to Patryk Kuleta, from Poland (Warsaw). She has clicked an architecture which was depicted in a complete different way by her.

The contest rules say that pictures taken by the photographers should be clicked from the camera of the iPhone. Additionally they cannot be modified using any software which runs on a laptop or desktop computer however the mild usage of the editing apps on phone is still allowed.
