Speculations Made by Users of the Thunderbolt Displays that Has Been Sold out by Apple

There were a lot of speculations that were made by users during the time the Thunderbolt displays had been discontinued and the users were directed by the company to use displays of third party manufacturers. No one knew whether this was a permanent or temporary move, however the speculations are been backed by users of Reddit where in the redirection is being pointed back to the website of the company.

Speculations Made by Users of the Thunderbolt Displays that Has Been Sold out by Apple

samuhlarik10 who is one of the users of Reddit, had recently noticed that the websites page which is supposed to have information on the displays actually redirects the user to the mac page. Another user had also noticed that the code that was used by Apple was the permanent redirect code numbered 301 instead of the temporary one which is said to be 302.

There are two reasons why the speculations that are made are considered as a stretch. Firstly, for most sites which are SEO related, in comparison to the 302, the 301 is preferred, if the redirections is said to be a temporary one. The distinction between the two is not even drawn by Google. Secondly, the other thing that was noticed was now officially even the Apple Store online has no more stock of the displays which are discontinued as they are sold out, this is more than enough of a reason for the link to be removed.

A lot of people were surprised about the fact that since 2011, the Thunderbolt Display was not updated by the company. Due to this, when the production of all priced points of the 4K monitors started, this made them look outdated. What was even more surprising was the fact that the 5K iMac had been launched by the company. However, it was stated by sources, that the company is planning to work on a 5K display which could be used externally along with the integrated GPU.
