It was reported earlier that for the iPhone 7, Apple is planning to include 3.5mm Ear Pods which is said to be the standard one’s along with an adapter. Apart from that, in regards to the device, there has been some more minor information that has emerged. As per Macotakara, an earpiece which is slightly larger will also be featured. Apart from that the switcher of the ambient light is also said to be relocated.
In the report it was also cited that various vendors and manufacturers who deal with screen protectors have not been receiving orders, one of the reason could be due to the changes that have been made. Now, on the earpiece right side, the ambient light sensor will be located, while initially it had been placed on the right side.
The company hopes that with the updation of the proximity sensor into a specification that is dual, it would be a lot more accurate. It is yet to be known if the reference in the report was pertaining to dual specification, however it can be presumed it is about the receiver and emitter being broken into 2.
These changes may be minor in nature but when you look at things in a larger picture, this could mean that in order for these changes to be accommodated, there would be some kind of redesigning that would have to be done to various accessories. For example, in order to fit the larger earpiece, the redesigning of the frontal screen protectors would have to be done with the changes that would be needed. In some case, the entire design itself would have to be changed to suit the new requirements.
In terms of the design, it is expected that the upcoming iPhone 7 will look very similar to the 6 and 6s iPhones that are presently in the market, but there has also been world about slight changes being made on that front also.
