At the WWDC 2016, in regards to the Apple TV it was announced by Apple that they plan to come up with the tvOS. The developer’s first beta has many features that are included. This includes a new support that has been added for HomeKit, using Siri performing various kinds of search on YouTube and even the Dark Mode.
The beta 1 of tvOS10 is presently available for testing to developers, for customers it would be available later this fall. The dark mode option has been added in the update. This changes the regular white theme of Apple apps and the Home screen to a theme which is dark gray in color. Even Siri for tvOS has become smarter as now YouTube users can go ahead and perform any search easily. Based on subjects, a person can search TV shows and also movies on YouTube. The tvOS 10 also has the HomeKit which allows you to use the Siri remote to control your smart accessories.
TvOS 10 also includes various other changes such as app badging and notifications, for iPhone, there is a new remote app on Apple TV which will let users use their iPhone for controlling Apple TV compatible Siri from the iPhone or iOS. For those who need a game controller, the iPhone can be used with the help of this app. Another feature that is present in the updated tvOS10 is another feature which is a Single Sign On. This means all the log‐ins of your cable subscription is grouped. You can also get t know which channels are featured based on what is supported by your log‐in.
