Recently, Apple had made the official announcement that the Apple Store officially will open n June 25th in China’s Macau Special Administrative Region. With this store coming into the picture, the retail presence of the company will be 41 stores in Greater China.
As per the regional website of Apple for Macau, the Apple Store which is forthcoming is said to be located at the Galaxy Macau resort which is a shopping mall that is upscale. Even though there is a website that is dedicated, however Macau’s is still counted as a part of Greater China even though it is a peninsular special administrative region. The region is also known as Asia’s Las Vegas even though it is autonomous technically from the Government of China. The reason why it got its name of being Asia’s Las Vegas is due to the bright lights, high end resorts and the casinos’ that are present here which is very similar to how Las Vegas looks like.
Just like the rest of the retail stores of the company, the outlet in Macau will also include a space for Workshops, a Genius Bar and the usual Sales floor. There will be class that would be conducted which covers the latest software and hardware with Apple. Even the reservations have also started for those who want to sign up. They can go through the webpage of the store to find out further information and details of the classes as well as the enrollment procedure. It seems to be that in China, Apple is broadening its reach, and however it also has its eyes on various other markets like Mexico, Brazil and India. The company had also promised last year that they have plans to build 40 new Apple Stores in China by the middle of 2016, Apart from that, there will also be outlets in Tianjin start and Shanghai.
