During the WWDC 2016 event, there are plans that a live streaming service would be hosted by LinkedIn from its San Francisco based office. However, an update had been posted on Monday Morning the Watch Party‘s official page stated that the event had been cancelled.

Even though there was no specific reference that had been mentioned on the page about the plans that Microsoft had in regards to the acquisition of LinkedIn. The visitors had been informed that they had to go to the official press information site of LinkedIn to get more information. It was announced officially by LinkedIn and Microsoft that earlier on Monday, the purchase was made of $26.2 billion.

As per what has also been stated on the site, they are hopes that alternative accommodations can be found by the visitors as well as if there was any inconvenience, an apology had already been mentioned. However, the one thing that still stays on schedule is the WWDS after party that Microsoft plans to throw. It is said that the party would start at 5PM at the headquarters of Twitter that is located in San Francisco and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is said to be a block away. Not only does Microsoft has plans in showcasing their iOS related services and apps to the Apple developers, however they are also offering drinks and food which is free and even various kinds of prices.

On 10 AM PST, the Apple WWDC 2016 event is said to kick off and there are plans that company is expected to even reveal the watchOS, tvOS, OS X and iOS versions next generation versions.
