The biggest Chinese phone manufacturing company Huawei said they are aiming to overtake Apple and Samsung in next 5 years in competition. They are aiming to become the world’s largest phone manufacturing company with a larger foothold in market than their competitors.
Huawei spoke about their plan in a conference held in Hong Kong. They are planning to take over the whole market in next 5 years. Richard Yu, the director of Huawei made this statement in a technology held conference and Wall Street Journal. Richard completely agrees to the fact that Apple is the leader of the technology market. It will be a very tough competition market for them which will happen in longer run however they have all the patience to fight. Huawei is growing outside United States however they have a very minimal presence in the country. It has a huge fan following their home market that is China however now the company is planning to dominate their presence in North America too.
Tim Cook once said Huawei is equally responsible for their falling sales. Huawei’s telecommunication has completely been in USA as they had severe concerns about privacy. Yu said that Huawei is planning to sell their smartphones with the some of the US networks for making them more trusted across United States. Huawei behind their journey in the lower segment phones however they have migrated to higher end luxury phones now. P9 is their latest higher end top notch phone. As a company Huawei has seen tremendous growth in the market. They have been very successful in capturing 59% of year on year growth as compared to Samsung and Apple. The company says that a major portion of their sales and profits are being driven from the sales of their higher end phones in their luxury segment.
