If you thought the last year iPhone 6s was decent, but still held on to your phone’s thinking that 2016 would mark the launch of an amazing phone, well there is some bad news. It seems to be that much awaited iPhone 7’s design looks very similar to the iPhone 6s and 6. The body shape of the upcoming iPhone 7 is said to be a lot like the 6 and 6s iPhones.
As per MacRumors, the aesthetic difference is that the 7’s rear facing camera will not stick out. As per Nikkei, is it believed that the company has plans to wait until next year before a fully refreshed device is launched. This means that the product cycle has now been shifted to 3 years instead of 2. The move that the company has made may also shock those who are part of the Upgrade Program, which was launched in 2015 by the company when the 6s was released.
A lot of people had signed up for the program with the thought of being able to get the opportunity of trading their old models for the new ones. It is yet to be known as to how many people actually signed up for the program as there has been no comments made by the company yet. There have been various reports suggesting that the storage facility will be increased by the company. This means that the iPhone base model will now be 32 GB instead of 16GB. It is also believed that the new models are going to be waterproof and will have a two lenses camera which can capture 3D images. The life of the battery is said to be the a little better if not same. Even the processor is said be a lot more efficient. The 3.5mm headphone jack is going to be removed.
