The Thunderbolt Display of Apple is long overdue for a comprehensive upgrade, the 27″ display at $999 has a design that is dated and the resolution offered is much lower than what you would get for $800 more of the 5k iMac’s Retina. This is one of the main reasons among the few as to why a lot of people are putting it in the list of Do Not Buy, however, that seems to be finally changing.
The users of Mac are hoping for a Thunderbolt Display that is all new or at least something better and different. It is believed that during the WWDC the announcement was going to be made by the company. It has not been expected widely that the Thunderbolt Display will be upgraded, however it was noticed by MacRumors that the inventory of the Thunderbolt Display across various Apple Stores is a hit or miss.
If ordered from the online store, it is believed that the delivery of the Thunderbolt display is said to be overnight, however when you check in the Apple Stores, out of every three locations at least one said that they did not have any inventory. There has also been a fluctuation of the stock that has been seen in the past before there has been a replacement for the product. This could possibly mean that finally the Thunderbolt Display may be under the same phase and could be out this fall. There are many reasons to expect that in the Thunderbolt Display’s place at any point there is something new.
This is because it is said to have debuted five years ago and is very old. If you compare this with the technological world, it will be equal to a century. There is a lot more that can be done obviously by the company so that the Thunderbolt Display can be upgraded or replaced.
