A new feature is what is being showed off by Adobe in the upcoming big Photoshop CC‘s big version that is known as content aware crop. There is also a video demo that is available in which an example has been given by Adobe which featured a child’s photo being cropped with the help of the horizon being straightened in the shot, however by this the lifeguard sign is cut off which is seen behind the child.

This problem is solved by the Content aware crop. In the standard crop both the sign and the boy would have been included as well as there would be white spaces which has not been captured in the original shot. In the case of the new feature, the intelligence of Photoshop is used by the context aware crop so that the white space is filled artificially after the shot was taken with scenery. Another example that was demonstrated by Adobe shows a waterfall scene that has been straightened based on the horizon. When the subject is included, the whole space is created by the crop however the demonstrator does show a lot more of what is in the foreground.

When the crop is dragged beyond the end of the actual photo, the feature of the content aware crop the photo can naturally be extended beyond what had been shot originally. By the looks of it, this new feature of artificially filling in makes the photo look very natural and the manual cloning of the image areas is not needed. The subscribers of the Creative cloud as per Adobe will now see the new feature of the content aware crop in the upcoming Photoshop CC‘s major release. It is safe to say, that Adobe does seem to be working really hard to ensure that they give their users carious kinds of features that can be used by their users to ensure that their photos come out just the way they like it with customizations that not only enhances the look of the photo but also ensures that it stays as natural as possible.
