It has been explained in the report that the personal assistant Siri will be opened up by the company to app developers outside with the SDK being released. This will give app developers a chance to make the services and apps accessible through the personal assistant. The report also states that it would be the responsibility of the developers to ensure that their app could be connected when appropriate by Siri. For example, the Uber app’s integration could be gained with Siri if users were allowed to use the virtual assistant when they needed to request for a car.

Siri was beefed up by the company a lot like how the original creators of Siri had showed off when Viv was out in the open. In regards to the hardware competitor to Google Home and Amazon eco, it was stated in the report that the company has been working towards coming up with a device before Echo was introduced by Amazon in mid ‐ 2015. It is said that featured in the device would be a speaker as well as the ability to be connected to the web. It is also believed that the device would also be able to an integration which is deep with the HomeKit. Not only would it act like a speaker, however the device will also carry the necessary AirPlay Technology support. There are also hopes that during the WWDC, the SDK for Siri would be available. As of right now, it is yet to be known if there are plans to release the actual hardware device.
